PHONY BALONEY IS PHINISHED

It's been a busy couple of weeks.

The signing at Midtown went great. Better than we were even expecting. You can click today's link to check out a picture of us with the wonderful people who came to visit and check us out.
I wish I had a picture of the guy who told us about his plan to get into comic books. Any time we do anything like this, there is always the one guy. He didn't really have any ideas for a book and he can't draw characters or backgrounds, but he took a look at the cover to our Toxic Teddies comic and said he could do the same drawing, only slightly bigger. He then took a free poster and a certificate of authenticity and let us know we shouldn't be surprised if it ends up on eBay.
This is what I live for.

Phony Baloney is 99% finished right now and currently having that extra 1% polished off. It should be completely done by tomorrow morning and submitted to the printer this week. I am honestly very proud of this book and think it came out amazing. It's like Police Academy without any of the Steve Gutenberg and two hours of extra footage dedicated to Michael Winslow making helicopter and robot noises. It's that awesome. I can't wait for everyone to get their hands on this book when it debuts at the NY Comic Con on February 24th.

Also, I finally got in some quality time with the Xbox 360 and I was not disappointed. Project Gotham and Kameo are awesome and I think all the extra shit they jammed in there, like the gamer stats, achievements, mp3 player compatibility and the live marketplace make playing all of the games even better than before. Now I just need my own and I will feel complete!
