This is how the end begins. I know this because I am all that remains of what once was. I am the record of what transpired. If this is being received by another entity, then perhaps there was a point to the inevitable cycle of birth and destruction. This documentation of events is all that has been salvaged from life. This is how the end begins...This is how the end begins...This is how the end begins...This is how the end begins...

Terminal Press Officially Announces HARD/CORE

While it's been talked about since the debut of "Debbie Does Dallas" at the 2008 Adult Entertainment Expo, Terminal Press has now officially announced their "HARD/CORE" line of artistic reinterpretations of iconic adult cinema along with the first details and images from "Deep Throat," "Candy Stripers," "The Devil in Miss Jones" and "Tell Them Johnny Wadd is Here."

Terminal Press, in association with Arrow Productions, assembled five talented and diverse creative teams to tackle five of Adult Cinema's most well-known brands with the goal of updating and re-imagining them into unique, high-quality comic books, relevant to today's audiences. These non-pornographic, but still mature-reader titles take the characters and concepts from the original films and throw them into new scenarios with new twists and creative spins that will surely surprise audiences while still retaining the elements that made them classics in the first place.

"Deep Throat" is a campy spy thriller by writer Keith McCleary, artist Alex Riegel and colorist Narek Gevorgian. "Candy Stripers" is a dark fairy tale by writer Brian Ferrara, artist Garrett Eisenheim and colorist Adam Street. "The Devil in Miss Jones" is a horror title by writer Christopher E. Long, artist Ken Knudtsen and colorist Narek Gevorgian. "Tell Them Johnny Wadd is Here" is a noir crime drama by writer Tony Fleecs, colorist Narek Gevorgian, with the artist still to be announced (promo art by Seth Frail).

"Working on these iconic properties with the freedom we've been given has been inspiring to everyone involved" says publisher Brian Ferrara. "Arrow metaphorically dumped out the toy box in front of us and just let us play- I think that fun and excitement comes across in each of these titles."

More in-depth information and previews from each title will be released in the coming weeks, along with news relating to television and toys as well.

"Debbie Does Dallas" is already available at terminalpress.com. "Deep Throat" and "Candy Stripers" will debut at the 2008 San Diego Comic Con on July 24th. "The Devil in Miss Jones" and "Tell Them Johnny Wadd is Here" will debut this fall. A collected edition titled "HARD/CORE" containing all of the stories plus bonus material will be available in the winter. The Limited Edition printings will only be available through terminalpress.com and Terminal Press' convention appearances.
